51. Powerful, portable, and versatile

    After struggling with numerous battery-operated music stand lights (and their batteries) for more than twenty years, I'm happy to report that the Lotus Light Pro checks all the boxes on my wish list for a portable stand light. The rechargeable battery lasts all night on one charge and the 14 LED bulbs light up the entire music stand, even the bottom of the page. Best of all, the bulbs do not dim as the battery depletes (a big complaint I had with other lights). I love the three brightness settings, the battery charge meter, and the flexibility of the strong gooseneck arm. It's great that the light is able to fold down almost flat in its included pouch, which can travel easily inside a music pocket or briefcase. The ability to charge the battery via USB is another plus. As a trumpet player who performers regularly in dimly lit churches, this light is a godsend. It's perfect for my digital piano at home, too, and it's great for practicing in hotel rooms (where good lighting is hard to find). It doubles as a nice desk lamp or reading lamp on road, as well. While it's light and powerful, overall, it's a bit too heavy for a wire music stand, but that's certainly not a deal breaker. Finally, I really like the fact that it's made in the USA in Northfield, MN, one of my favorite towns!

52. New, improved device delivers

    I purchased the updated Lotus Light and I will say that the device is worth the investment. I like the new on/off button,especially when compared to the original two position slide. The new button is easier to find by feel without the slight discomfort of probing for the old slide. Also, I like the new three light intensity selection. I use this light on my grand piano and will be purchasing another for use with my electronic keyboard.

    The new version of Lotus Light has added even more improvements. The On/Off switch is a button now, instead of the tiny and difficult slider switch.
    The new light comes with three light levels. In addition, it comes with a friendlier color than the first version.
    It also comes with a 2-section charging cord, which includes a USB connector as well as a regular plug. This is brilliant in my view, because now we can take along a Power Bank to recharge in situations where there are no Powerstrips provided.
    The Battery-life indicator is a welcome addition for peace of mind. Thank you, Lotus Light

54. Best Music Light Keeps Getting Better

    I've been trying out different music lights for many many years. We bought two Lotus Lights Lux14 a number of years ago and they have been the best we haver had until NOW. We upgraded to the PRO14, which is even better. I love the new push-button switch and the worry-free battery fuel gage. These lights take some of the stress out of gigging.
